Overview
When a user no longer requires access to the Zemplee Portal, their account should be deactivated. The process varies depending on whether the user is an Administrator or a non-Administrator (such as a Caregiver, Nurse, or Medical Assistant).
Deactivating an Administrator
Follow the steps below to deactivate an Administrator account:
- Log in to the Zemplee Portal.
- From the navigation menu on the left, click Settings.
- Under Settings, select My Organization.
- A list of all users in your organization will be displayed.
- Click on the Administrator you want to deactivate.
- Scroll down to the User Status field.
- Click the User Status dropdown and select Inactive.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the blue Update button.
Result
The Administrator has now been deactivated. The user will be moved to the list of inactive users and will no longer be able to log in to the Zemplee Portal.
Deactivating a Caregiver, Nurse, Medical Assistant, or Other Non-Administrator User
Important: Before a non-administrator user can be deactivated, they must first be removed from the Care Team of every member they are assigned to.
Step 1: Remove the User from All Assigned Care Teams
- Log in to the Zemplee Portal.
- From the navigation menu on the left, click Members.
- Open a member's profile.
- Click on the Care Team tab.
- Locate the user you want to remove.
- Click the Trash Can button on the very right side to remove the User from the Care Team.
- Repeat these steps for every member the user is assigned to.
Note: The user must be removed from every member's Care Team before they can be deactivated.
Step 2: Deactivate the User Account
After the user has been removed from all Care Teams:
- From the navigation menu on the left, click Settings.
- Under Settings, select My Organization.
- A list of all users in your organization will be displayed.
- Click on the user you want to deactivate.
- Scroll down to the User Status field.
- Click the User Status dropdown and select Inactive.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the blue Update button.
Result
The user has now been deactivated. They will be moved to the list of inactive users and will no longer be able to log in to the Zemplee Portal.
Note: If you need assistance removing a user from every member’s care team, please submit a ticket to Support at support@zemplee.com requesting the user to be removed from all members’ care teams. The Support team will take care of it for you.
